BIOSENSORS JAPAN CO LTD was established in Tokyo in 1990 as a sales and distribution facility for Biosensors' products in Japan, and as an importer and exclusive sales agent for selected U.S. and European medical device companies.

The sales office in Japan is one of the pivotal units of the Company, spearheading sales and other critical activities in Japan, the second-largest dollar-value healthcare market after the United States. Over the years, this office has built up expertise in meeting the stringent regulatory requirements of Japan's MOH (Ministry of Health, Japan's equivalent to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration), as well as the specialized marketing needs of Japan's medical fraternity.
